As part of our IT asset recovery service, devices we purchase may contain residual data from previous owners. All equipment received by RCN Trading is processed using secure data destruction procedures in line with industry standards before being resold or recycled. We do not access, use, or retain any data found on equipment we purchase. Certified data wiping documentation is available on request.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. In practice this means:
Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months from the date of last contact. Transaction records are retained for up to 6 years in line with HMRC requirements. Website analytics data is retained in accordance with our cookie settings, typically no longer than 26 months.
After these periods your data is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your data with the following categories of third parties where necessary to deliver our services:
