For hard drives that are suitable for reuse or resale, our software data wiping service permanently erases all data using industry-leading tools that overwrite every sector of the drive with multiple passes of random data. This process renders all previous information completely unrecoverable and meets recognised data destruction standards. A certified wiping report is provided on completion, giving you the documentation you need for GDPR compliance and internal audit purposes.

Best for: Drives that are functional and will be reused, donated, or resold.

Physical Hard Drive Crushing

When absolute destruction is required — or when drives are beyond reuse — we offer physical crushing and shredding upon request. The drive is physically destroyed beyond any possibility of data recovery or reconstruction. All destroyed material is then responsibly recycled in line with WEEE regulations. A certificate of destruction is provided on completion.

Best for: Organisations handling highly sensitive or regulated data, drives with mechanical failures, or where regulatory requirements demand physical destruction.

Automatic Destruction for Obsolete Drives

Not every drive is a candidate for wiping or reuse. Older low-capacity drives, drives with mechanical failures, or hardware that has no residual resale value are automatically assessed for immediate destruction rather than wiping. This streamlined approach saves you time and ensures that outdated hardware doesn't become a security liability.

Best for: Ageing or low-value drives where wiping and reuse is not economically viable.

Yes. If your equipment has residual resale value we will purchase it and handle the data wiping as part of the same service. Payment is made on the day of collection. Equipment that has no resale value can still be collected and destroyed or recycled responsibly
